Ficus Panda Variegated – Rare Ornamental Fig with Striking Foliage
The Ficus Panda Variegated is a premium variant of the classic Ficus Panda, featuring beautiful cream and green variegated leaves. A stunning statement plant for modern Delhi NCR homes and offices. Slightly more light-sensitive than the regular variety due to its variegation.
🌞 Light: Needs bright indirect light to maintain its variegation. Low light will cause the leaves to revert to plain green. Best near a bright east or west-facing window, but shield from direct afternoon sun.
💧 Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry — roughly every 6–8 days in summer, every 10–14 days in winter. Avoid overwatering; variegated plants are slightly more sensitive to root rot. Ensure good pot drainage.
🪨 Potting & Soil: In a 7-inch pot, this plant is well-established and can grow for 1–2 years before repotting. Use well-draining potting soil + vermicompost (4:1). Top-dress with vermicompost every 3–4 months to keep it thriving.
🏠 Placement: Indoors near a bright window or a sheltered balcony. Avoid moving frequently to prevent leaf drop.
